Lovelace Colloquium 2016
What is the Lovelace Colloquium?
The BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium is an annual, one-day conference dedicated to females that study or work in the Computing (or related) industry.
Throughout the day there are a number of talks from women in both academia and industry computing, the chance to network with like-minded individuals from other university, the chance to look around the businesses which have stalls there on the day, and the student poster competition.
Why is this related to my Major Project?
As of this morning I have entered an abstract to the 2016 Lovelace Colloquium. My abstract is based on my Major Project, and as such, is related! Hopefully I will get through to the next round, which is to present an A2 poster at the event on 31st March in Sheffield.
By this time I am hoping to have some results, or at least some images I can use on my poster which will be then judged. Fingers crossed!
